Learning About Animals

Playing with a zoo animal pop up toy, Lorelai and I were discussing the animals, where they live, what sounds they make, and what they eat.

The monkey pops up, holding a banana.

"What is that?"
"Nonkey!"
"Mmmmm, monkey."
"Oh. Mmmonkey."
"What do monkeys eat?"
"I don't know." (totally messing with me)
"Yes, you do. What do monkeys eat? What is he holding?"
"Ummm..." (points to the banana)

"Cheese!"
